Joining free to play titles such as AirMech Arena and Happy Wars in making the jump from the Xbox 360 to Xbox One comes Wargaming’s World of Tanks. Fans of the game will be happy to know that progress and content will carry over from the Xbox 360 version. Not only will it feature upgraded graphics for the Xbox One, World of Tanks will feature cross-platform play between the Xbox One and the Xbox 360; a first ever between the two Xbox generations. To add to the fun, a “Proving Grounds” player vs environment (PvE) is being offered to give a brand new experience to the audience.
Gamers can pre-download World of Tanks starting on July 10 in preparation for the title’s launch. A beta weekend will take place on July 11-12th for those that want to sample the Xbox One version early.
Take a look below for an E3 2015 trailer for World of Tanks.
From the makers of Happy Wars comes another free to play title arriving on Xbox One called Happy Dungeons. ToyLogic has announced that this title will be a hack and slash RPG that can be played with up to four players online or local couch co-op. Players will need to work as a team to play to their strengths and compensate for other player’s weaknesses. More than 1,000 items exist to customize characters from armor to weapons and more.
After Happy Dungeons releases, regular updates will come with weekly events and new stories will be provided every two month. Features for players of both Happy Wars and Happy Dungeons are also planned as well.

The internet can be a strange place. Sometimes you end up finding things you weren’t looking for, like the release date to the Xbox One version of AirMech Arena.
Thanks to the Uplay App on Xbox One, that date looks to be May 11, 2015. There has been no official announcement on the internet and there are equal possibilities that the day may change without notice. However, with a generic Spring 2015 release window for the title, AirMech Arena will be coming soon regardless of this date sticks.
For those that may not know, AirMech Arena is a free to play Real Time Strategy/MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena)/twin stick shoot-em-up that pits a team of up to three players against up to three players or CPUS in fast paced action with a goal of taking down the other team’s fortress. This game has seen success on the Xbox 360 and is looking to expand this success to the Xbox One.
Uplay has been kind enough to also upload the actions that can be done to earn Uplay points and the rewards that can be purchased with Uplay points. Take a look below to see what those are.
[Editors Note: In the past, listings on the Xbox.com website were often wrong and we have ignored them, however, since the Uplay is from Ubsioft and has previously been accurate, we have decided to post]This July, Magic Duels: Origins will be launching on the Xbox One as the new series follows the Duels series. Magic Duels will have a corresponding storyline from the new set of cards later this year. The game plans to have continual updates as more sets of cards are released, which makes sense considering that they are going to convert to the free-to-play model. There will also be multiples new game modes including the Two-Headed Giant, which is an old fan favorite from past games.
Drew Nolosco, the lead designer for Magic Duels: Origins had this to say about the game, “Players will experience the origin stories of our five most iconic Planeswalkers through immersive gameplay. Everything is earnable, making the game truly free-to-play. Magic Duels is the perfect way to start your journey into the world’s best strategy game.”
There are also a plethora of announced new features, among them: playable Planeswalkers, new Skill Quest tutorial, and an improved Deck Builder. Those in interested in a more through list of new features should read after the break for more information.
Lionhead Studios has announced that Fable Legends will be free to play for all Xbox One users with a Gold subscription and will also be free on all Windows 10 PCs. All story-related content will be free for everyone, and everything that is directly related to gameplay will be able to be earned and unlocked. In addition, there are customization aspects of the heroes that can be bought with real money or earned via an in-game currency transaction.
There will be a rotating cast of heroes available for free for a yet-to-be-determined amount of time before they are eventually rotated out for a new cast; however, all progress on each hero is saved between free weeks. This process is very similar to how League of Legends alternates which champions are free each week for players. There will also be a way for players to earn each hero, and those heroes will also be available for purchase for those willing to pay.
The game’s director, David Eckelberry, made an in-depth video explaining the decision-making process and reasoning behind the game becoming free to play. Lionhead has also posted a FAQ on their website, which can be read here, that answers most questions that players might have in regards to the announcement. Take a look at the video for yourself after the break.
