Valve has unveiled a fresh batch of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive screenshots that capture in stunning high-definition a few of the many awesome-macho-military-man poses you can pull when CS:GO launches this summer on XBLA. Stare with primal rage down the ironsights of a shotgun, take a moment to gaze pensively into the camera whilst clutching a grenade and, er, squat in the corner? Of course, that release date heralds from the mouth of Valve and so translates to a tentative pre-2020 release. Pew pew pew!

Warp was developed by Trapdoor and published by Electronic Arts. It was released February 15, 2012 for 800 MSP. A copy was provided for review purposes.
Kicking off Microsoft’s House Party event, Trapdoor’s Warp is a stealth/ puzzle game that draws from some of the most celebrated franchises in the gaming library (Portal and Metal Gear Solid come to mind). Players take control of Zero; an ostensibly adorable alien held captive by human scientists in an underwater labyrinth of labs and curious mechanical contraptions. The dastardly men of science are performing all manner of foul experiments on the little fella, but it’s not long before Zero’s harnessed the power of his titular talent and is embarking on a violent quest through the belly of the science facility in a bid to retrieve his lost abilities and unite with an enigmatic alien life form that contacts him telepathically (and acts as a handy guide).
While he looks all cuddles and kisses on the outside, Zero’s a bit of a barbarian; capable of teleporting inside of his human captors, causing them to burst in a crimson shower and just about everything in Warp is anchored by Zero’s natty teleporting ability. Read More
Double Fine has made a name for itself on Xbox Live Arcade through popular titles Costume Quest, Stacking, Iron Brigade and, most recently, Happy Action Theater, but in the midst of crowd-sourcing nearly $2 million dollars, Double Fine man Tim Schafer has opined over Microsoft’s burgeoning (or is it?) digital platform.
“Ever since I played Geometry Wars I thought, what a great new portal,” the developer said in an interview with Hookshot Inc., “But it seems that this year, the idea didn’t explode like it should have. Back when Castle Crashers came out, it seemed it was going to grow and grow. I just wish there was more support, more marketing, more placement on the dashboard. It could have been our own little Sundance Film festival, a great sandbox for indie development.”
A brief Q&A session on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD Facebook page has offered insight into how authentic the HD remake, which combines elements from Pro Skater and Pro Skater 2, will be.
Though no specifics were provided, Pro Skater HD will feature online play and cost somewhere in the vicinity of $15. You’ll be able to manual ’til your heart’s content but don’t get any grand ideas about walking, spray-painting or performing reverts, which weren’t a staple of Pro Skater prior to the third game and made stringing together combos significantly less demanding. Elsewhere in the Q&A, scant details were provided regarding DLC but the developer said to stay tuned so expect an announcement on that prior to its “mid-summer” release.
