In it, Bates speaks about forthcoming follow-up to hit XBLA title Trials HD, Trials Evolution. Specifically, he doles out information on the new editor, track sharing features and, crucially, what hasn’t been tinkered with.
“We are using the same basic gameplay physics; the exact same controls you’re used too. Everything that was perfect in Trials HD we’re not touching, we’re not messing with that part.”

Supergiant Games’ Arcade knockout Bastion has ranked alongside some of the most prolific AAA titles of the past year in the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences 2011 awards.
The awards ceremony, which takes place during the 2012 D.I.C.E summit on February 9, champions all corners of the games industry with prizes for retail, downloadable and mobile games as well as individual categories for specific genres. Said Martin Rae, president of the AIAS:

Reporting from the consumer tech tradeshow, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson takes a brisk trip around the Microsoft booth, interviewing developers from the five upcoming XBLA titles and exhibiting new footage of their games. Monolith Productions producer Lucas Myers has responded to a chain of fan questions in a Q&A session on the Gotham City Impostors community board.
