Toy Soldiers: War Chest coming in early 2015

Almost every kid has played with, or at least seen, the iconic little green army men known simply as toy soldiers. Almost every parent has stepped on one of these little guys as well. In developing Toy Soldiers and Toy Soldiers: Cold War, Signal Studio, along with publisher Microsoft Game Studios, brought those toy soldiers out of the physical toy box and onto the virtual battlefield where those childhood memories could be relived. With those games they also had two of the highest-rated arcade games of the previous generation.

Now, in partnership with publisher Ubisoft, Signal Studios is making the game it always wanted in Toy Soldiers: War Chest, which it plans to release in early 2015.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War Napalm and Evil Empire review (XBLA DLC)

Napalm and Evil Empire addons for Toy Soldiers: Cold War were developed by Signal Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. They were released on March 25, 2012 for 400 MSP each. A copy of both addons were provided for review purposes.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War is a great game. We loved it when it first released and since its August 2011 release, the possibility of DLC has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. Now the Napalm and Evil Empire additions have finally released and unfortunately it might not have been worth the wait. A few fun additions were made but a severe lack of content makes these addons a bit of a let down. Read More

Toy Soldiers: Cold War DLC launches tomorrow

Patiently we’ve awaited word of downloadable content for tower-defence hit Toy Soldiers: Cold War and, as the adage about the busses dictates, Signal have today announced not one but two expansion packs both primed to launch on XBLA tomorrow (Wednesday 25). Both the Evil Empire and Napalm packs boast 3-level mini-campaigns, a new survival level, versus level and minigame as well as a slew of achievements, decorations, bosses and new toys. About time.
