New Van Helsing trailer plays up hacking up monsters and ghouls

Van Helsing is perhaps best known for his legendary battles with the big mack daddy of all vampires, Dracula (and, well, that one Hugh Jackman movie the less said about the better). If Neocore Games’ upcoming The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is to be believed however, the famous vampire slayer’s son may just be every bit the monster hunter his father was – perhaps moreso.

More Minecraft skins announced

Minecraft will be getting its first Skin Pack along with the release of the 1.7.3 update. The pack will have a total of 40 skins, the majority of which are currently shrouded in mystery. Five more skins have emerged from the fog, bravely showing themselves to the world in all their pixelated glory. The five newest character to join the pack are: Jack of Blades, Clayton Carmine, Banjo, Ms Splosion Man, and a Prisoner. There are still 30 character to be announced, but so far the pack looks amazing. We can’t wait to see more XBLA character getting the Minecraft treatment. There is currently no release date or price for Skin Pack 1.

Whether you’re an old fan or someone wanting to see what all the fuss is about, you can check out NiGHTS into dreams  when it comes to XBLA sometime this fall.

Minecraft Skin Pack 1 will release alongside 1.7.3 update

By  •  News

Minecraft players have been anxiously awaiting the 1.7.3 update that will drop later this month, but the newly announced Skin Pack DLC will make the update even sweeter. The pack will include 40 skins, including both original skins and skins inspired by other games. Five skins have been announced so far: Creeper, Covenant Grunt, King, Splosion Man, and Trials Man. Although the 1.7.3 update will be free, the Skin Pack will come with a price tag. Fortunately, there will be a free trial of the DLC, so you can view all the skins and take some out for a spin before deciding on a purchase. Once the DLC drops the 8 default Steve skins can also be worn whenever you like. Skins will no longer be changed by default when joining multiplayer, so you be whoever you want, even if somebody else is already using that skin. There is currently no release date or price, but the DLC will drop around the time of the update. So, what characters do you want to appear in the skin pack?

Undead Labs drops multiplayer gameplay for Class3

It’s been a while since we heard from Undead Labs on the progress of their highly ambitious XBLA zombie thriller, Class3, however it seems that while the game is definitely still alive, it will no longer feature multiplayer co-op on release. New Community Manager Sanya Weathers, dropped the bombshell during a Q&A on the developers new forums stating:

“Since we plan to rapidly build a massively multiplayer online world around the Class3 design foundation, we decided to defer co-op play in Class3. Our hope is to add co-op play to Class3 during the development of Class4, but for now Class3 will be a single-player experience.

We wanted to let you know what the deal was as soon as we knew. While we are extremely happy with the way the game has come together around our core design goals — strategic base building, slick combat, open-world sandbox, survival simulation — we’re of course disappointed we couldn’t get co-op play in for release, so we’ll understand if you are too.”
