Double Fine have finally detailed the DLC pack for Iron Brigade (formerly Trenched), it will be called Rise of the Martian Bear. Before being defeated at the end of Iron Brigade Vlad, creator and evil overlord of the Monovision, managed to download his consciousness into his pet bear. Clearly the only logical step from there is to go to Mars, so that’s what he does. It’s there he plans to rebuild his Monovision empire, so the mobile trench brigade must follow and take Vlad down again.
In addition to new campaign missions the DLC will include more levels for the games soon to released survival mode. The survival mode itself will be part of the upcoming title update/European release of Iron Brigade. There’s no release date for either the update or the DLC, but the update is expected very soon.
Check after the jump for some screens as well as an interview with Brad Muir from Double Fine conducted by Gamespot, which includes some footage of the new content.

We recently had the chance to ask John Dennis of Team 17 some questions about the upcoming Worms: Ultimate Mayhem. Check out the full interview after the jump! Worms: Ultimate Mayhem will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade on September 28, retailing for 1200 Microsoft Points.
Can you start us off by giving us an overview of what Worms: Ultimate Mayhem is?
Hi, of course, Worms Ultimate Mayhem, for us, is the definitive 3D Worms game. The game is a “best of” compilation of the very best content from both Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem, so it’s got loads of the weapons, tons of the customization options plus a selection of new ones, making for well over 100 individual customization elements in total, and it has 60 single player missions from games both as well, making it a just massive game.
Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment have announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will include two new modes based on the popular “Gun Game” mod for Counter-Strike: Source. Arsenal: Arms Race and Arsenal: Demolition are based on the simple concept of working your way up the weapon chain. You start with lesser weapons such as pistols, but each kill you get nets you a new weapon. The objective is to win the race to the top by working your way through each and every weapon. The addition of these two new modes is also adding eight previously unannounced maps to the game. Valve and Hidden Path are working with the original creators of the mod to make sure that the Global Offensive iterations of Arsenal mode are the best iterations of the mode to date.
Valve has also provided us with nine new screenshots of the game which can be viewed after the jump. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is currently scheduled to assault XBLA next spring.
The upcoming War of the Worlds game looks to be an interesting take on the story and have gameplay elements that feel like Out of This World or other rotoscope animation games. We have some brand new screenshots and art from one of the early levels in the game, Paddington Station. If you want to see some of the game in action from Paddington Station, check out the video here but make sure to check out the new screens after the break. War of the Worlds will be dropping down in October.
