Ubisoft’s I Am Alive was on display at this year’s CES convention where new details and screenshots of the game have come to light. As previously explained, the game puts you in the shoes of a character living in a city that’s been brought to its knees by natural disasters that have changed the world and society along with it. Everyday life is about survival and nothing more. If you want to live, you’re going to have to push yourself to your limits and go places you previously thought unimaginable.
Venturebeat.com offers up several gameplay scenarios that I Am Alive will drop players into; What will you do when a small group of people start circling you, obviously planning something? You pull your weapon but the clip is empty. Will you bluff and try to intimidate them? Either they’ll leave you alone or they’ll call you out and things will get messy. The system also works the other way around with players being able to call out potential threats to them as well. Fight and win, fight and lose, run and survive, run and get gunned down? Any number of things can happen and your survival is contingent on what you decide to do.

Bang Bang Racing recently sped off the starting line with a trailer and screenshots combo and a website. Since then, the stadiums have been quiet, with the peanut gallery staring down the stretch holding their hands over their brows to block the sun so they won’t miss the next pass of cars. Well it seems another pack of media has been steadily zipping by the finish line starting a new lap of content showcases.
Over the last couple of weeks eight maps have been posted to Bang Bang Racing‘s facebook page along with a short blurb about each. Hit the jump for the screenshot gallery. Suffice to say, Digital Reality in collaboration with Playbox has gone for massive variety with these maps both in nature and in environment. Across these eight maps are very different themes from snow to sand, coastal to inland. More importantly, it seems as though each map will have several variations involving closing off parts of the map and opening others, turning straights into corners and vice versa. This is a fantastic alternative to the classic “go again, but this time, in reverse” cop-out because maps in reverse really aren’t that different. Throw in a series of six hairpins where before there was a straight, and that’s some majorly different racing.

We posted a rumor that Renegade Ops would be seeing some DLC in the near future and it looks like that turned out to be true. Sega announced today that we’ll be seeing two new DLC packs on December 21 with one for campaign and new vehicles for the other one. In the new Coldstrike campaign, you’ll be facing off against a new villain with three new levels and new enemy types to destroy. It’ll set you back 400 MSP on its release. The new Vehicle Pack DLC will add two new heroes with Crystal using a large-force field and custom armor while Blazemo has an off-road terrain vehicle that’s great against multiple terrains so nothing stands in your path to destruction. It’ll set you back 240 MSP for both heroes and catch some new screenshots after the break of the arctic explosions.

We haven’t heard much on Bloodforge since the trailer reveal but some new screenshots emerged on their Facebook. What’s interesting to note in these screenshots is the gigantic enemies the are more than double the size of your character. One of the captions mention that the best form of attack is defense which hopefully leads to more blood being shed as you defeat these giant enemies. One thing’s for certain, we can’t wait to see this game more in action early next year. Check out the other screenshot after the break.
