It’s another three man show this week with John, Andrew and myself. We’ve officially decided to bump our episode length to one hour, we weren’t very good at sticking to the 30 minute one anyway so here’s hoping this works out better!

A little bit of a slow news week this week but we still find a few stories that spark some interesting conversation. Including Ms Splosion Man getting a table in Pinball FX2 and those Resident Evil ports heading to anywhere but XBLA.

We had a few new releases last week, John and Andrew played with them some so they talk a bit about those. Spoilers: Andrew is not a fan of MLB Bobbleheads. Since I haven’t played the newer release I talk about my continuing love of Half-Minute Hero (and it’s music) and of course Trenched.

It’s the (now regular) cast of three again this week. It’s a news heavy show, stories below, among the stories and subjects discussed are pricing, remakes and of course the Summer of Arcade.

Lucha Fury gets a little time (but it’s not very good so we skip over it mostly) while we round things out with a bit more Trenched now that all of us have played it.

A three man show this week and we’ve got a whole lot to talk about. John is joined by Andrew and myself again and as usual we start off discussing the past weeks most interesting news stories. (links below)

We finally got a couple of XBLA releases last week in the form of The Adventures of Shuggy and Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. Andrew and John played each of these respectively and enjoyed them quite a alot. I reviewed Trenched, which is out this week so I talk about that for a while.

Iron Brigade (Formerly Trenched) was developed by Double Fine Productions, published by Microsoft Games Studios and will be released on June 22nd, 2011 for 1200MSP. A copy of the game was provided to us for review purposes.

Double Fine has found great success so far with their downloadable titles. Costume Quest and Stacking were well received, critically and commercially. Each title has been unique in gameplay, setting and style. Trenched is no different, a mech-based tower defense game set in an alternate history with all the charm and character you’ve grown to expect.
