Techland, know prominently as the makers of Dead Island have revealed their next project, and it just so happens that it’s coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Simply titled Haste, Techland is pouring their efforts into crafting an ATV racer for digital download. While there isn’t exactly a plethora of details available, sources say that the game will play similarly to Nail’d, another racing game released by Techland earlier this year. Players can expect speed, stunts, and dirt to be tearing their screens when the game releases. Read on to feast your eyes on the first four screenshots of the game, which will be published by Ubisoft sometime next year. Stay tuned to XBLAFans for more coverage of the bumpy ride that Haste promises to deliver fans in the near future.

We talk about XBLA this week! Honest!

John Carson once again joins the regular crew of myself, Perry Jackson and Todd Schlickbernd. We talk briefly about last weeks release of Xotic before spending a little too long talking about Saints Row: The Third. Then it’s onto XBLA news, of which there was some this week.

Last week we told you about the co-op features that will be in the new iteration of NFL Blitz. Well this week, it’s all about “Elite Leagues”. The third and “deepest” online mode. Very reminiscent of the Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL, Elite Leagues looks to add a little more arcade flare. You’ll be able to use the “Blitz Bucks” you’ve earned from online games to buy card packs that will contain new players and power ups for your team. Both players and power up have contracts that will deplete after every game. Using your Blitz Bucks, you’ll be able to renew that players or power ups contract. Pro Players and Ultimate players feature infinite contracts, and can be received by trading in a full team of cards. It looks as though Elite Leagues takes what’s great in the Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL, and what’s great in NFL Blitz, and makes a fun, addicting mode for gamers. More information about the mode can be seen below.
