Once again technical difficulties have conspired to make this show late but we powered through and bring you this late but still pretty good podcast.
John is stepping down from the podcast for a while so this week Andrews steps up to the hosting chair, joined by myself and Todd. We hit some news first off, including an unexpected rant about fighting games and some bemoaning of Fruit Ninja DLC.
We sadly lose Todd for the what we’ve been playing section, his internet didn’t want you guys to hear about the games he’d been playing, but myself and Andrew talk about a whole bunch of stuff. Including this weeks release of Crazy Machines Elements which Andrew thoroughly enjoyed.
Andrew shares the news of his new job as a member of Xbox Support on twitter, as a result he won’t be on the show for a while. So tune in next week for a totally on time edition of the show hosted by myself with some new voices for you to listen to.

We had an exceptionally late episode last week, but we’re making up for it this week with possibly the most punctual episode yet! The usual cast of myself, John Laster and Andrew Crews are joined by Deputy Editor Steve Melton to discuss all things XBLA.
It’s a very slow news week this week so we spend more time that we should discussing just why we don’t want yet another Worms game on XBLA.
Things take a better turn when we hit the what we’ve been playing and twitter topic segments, in which there is some pretty interesting discussion of topics ranging from retro remakes to the often discussed friends list limit.
[podcast]https://xblafans.com/xblafancast/XBLAFancastEp24.mp3[/podcast]N+ was developed by Slick Entertainment, and published by Metanet Software. It was released February 20, 2008 for 800MSP.
Based on the browser Flash game N, N+ is an highly updated version with HD graphics and completely new levels. You play as a nameless ninja who nimbly jumps past every danger in his way through a highly mechanized and gray world. As tough as it is addicting, N+ is one of the best platformers around, but it doesn’t do enough to not feel like a flash game.
This is a new piece we’re starting to let our readers know what we’ve been playing the past week. This will be coming out once a week from this …

Nin2-Jump was developed by Cave and retails for 400 MSP.
Nin2-Jump (pronounced Nin-Nin-Jump) is a platformer that comes from an unlikely heritage. It was developed by Cave, a developer famous for one thing: bullet hell shooters. It’s not hard to see where this influenced the game in many places. But in releasing Nin2-Jump Cave has proven that they can produce competent games in other genres.
Much like a shooter, the story here is razor thin. You are a ninja. Your goal is to save the princess. You achieve this by collecting scrolls and destroying bosses. While this all sounds familiar it is enough to drive the game, and it is the gameplay that matters.
Today three new Xbox Live Arcade games hit the scene. First up for 800MSP is Outland, a platformer with a polarization element. Enemies, ordnance, and objects are …

In The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile players collect ghost beads that modify their stats or gameplay experience in some way. Four may be equipped at any time. While some beads are easy to find and in fact the game leads you right to them, some of them are in hidden pathways or require backtracking to find. Still some are received as rewards for playing the musical challenges from amps scattered throughout the game.
Thanks to Laorik and an anonymous commenter, the guide is now complete! All 30 beads are accounted for and contained within as well as a guide to the Bleep Bloop! achievement.
If you’re not sure whether or not to purchase The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile check out our review of it.
