Our ever vigilant tipper @lifelower sent us some of the recent Xbox Live activity from Japan. While there are several titles that share popularity with the Americas and Europe, there were a few surprises in regards to sales. Probably the biggest surprise of all was MLB Bobblehead Pros, a game that we weren’t fans of. Trouble Witches Neo also stayed in the top 10, a title that isn’t nearly as popular in ‘the west’. Earlier this summer THQ canned the Xbox Live Arcade Saint’s Row title, Saint’s Row: Drive By. Roughly 10 days ago screenshots surfaced for an alleged XBLA Saint’s Row game, Money Shot. Yesterday Destructiod ran a story with footage from the game, proving that if nothing else it existed at one time. The YouTube footage was pulled shortly thereafter citing a copyright claim from THQ.

The game seemed to involve a using the gamepad to guide a high powered bullet through obstacles while collecting cash and other powerups on its way to the designated target. Truthfully it looked more like a good fit for a minigame in Saint’s Row 3 instead of an XBLA title. Could we be getting a new XBLA Saint’s Row title, or is this just archived footage from the cancelled Drive By? Hit the jump for two more screenshots.

Not every game is about destroying every single thing you see in sight, and it’s so easy to see a helicopter and think missiles, rockets, miniguns, explosions, but in inXile Entertainment’s upcoming game Choplifter HD it’s more about the lives to be rescued than the enemies to blow up. If that doesn’t tug at your heart strings, then feel free to return to blow stuff up, dodge missiles mode because Choplifter HD has that too even if it’s not all that goes on.

Now for those who have never played the original Choplifter the premise might not be too familiar save for those people who have been rescued by a choplifter (hope you thanked your pilot) so perhaps it’s necessary to get some hands-on time. Well anyone headed to PAX Prime is in luck as InXile Entertainment will be there showing off the game with playable missions and even an opportunity to see some of their special guests in the game, including the one and only Duke Nukem.
