Today was another busy day for releases on Xbox One with four different titles vying for everyone’s purchase. First up is Boom Ball 2 for Kinect from developer Virtual Air Guitar Company. The game boils down to smashing cubes, blowing stuff up and having a good time. Players can also bring a friend along for the fun with two player local co-op. Next up is Crypt of the Serpent King from developer Rendercode Games. The game is a first person dungeon hack’n’slash with rougelike elements to keep players coming back. Each dungeon is randomly generated and will host orcs, giant spiders, and a variety of other menaces. Crypt of the Serpent King is available for purchase here for $2.99.
Hellbent Games’ Wick is the next game to release today. Wick is a survival horror game where players investigate a local legend regarding young lost children in the woods. Players will journey deep into the darkness and must manage their light resources well if they hope to survive. There are plenty of things that lurk in the dark that are seeking to end the investigation. Wick can be purchased here for $9.99.
The last game to release today is Momonga Pinball Adventures from developer Paladin Studios. The game is a unique take on the pinball genre as it makes players play as a little flying squirrel. This squirrel is the ball and traveling through worlds translates to traveling through pinball tables. There are flippers on each “table” to continue the pinball theme. The game tells the story of Momonga’s epic adventure to save his tribe. Momonga Pinball Adventures can be purchased here for $5.99.
