A new teaser trailer has been released for Thimbleweed Park, the new adventure game from Maniac Mansion creators Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick. Thimbleweed Park is the story of two detectives who arrive in the strange town to investigate a dead body found in the river.

The game aims to recapture the simpler days of point n click classics right down to the stalwart verb-based interface but the old schoolers get too excited, you’re in for a bit of a wait. Thimbleweed Park is not due to hit the console until early 2017.
