Game Freak’s Tembo the Badass Elephant will release on Xbox One on July 21, publisher Sega announced today. Tembo will retail for $14.99/£9.99/€12.99, but Xbox Live Gold members can take advantage of a 10 percent discount offer on launch day.

A side-scrolling 2D platformer from the studio that brought the world the Pokémon games, Tembo plays a bit like the Rhambi sections of Rare’s Donkey Kong Country series from the Super Nintendo. Players will take Tembo on an adventure that spans 18 levels in the whimsically title game.

“We don’t think there’s a single game out there with a better name,” said John Clark, VP of Commercial Publishing for Sega Europe, in a prepared statement.
