Last year, we posted a list of the top 10 XBLA soundtracks and while it’s a great list, there’s been a great deal of omissions and new tunes in the past year. Some of them have become iconic and immediately hummable or in some cases, incredibly dance-y. So we’re bringing you another 10 to add to the list, in no particular order since they’re all winners.
Here at XBLAFans, the editors are just as crazy about their games as our readers. To celebrate Brawler Week, our staff chimes in on their favorite titles from Xbox Live Arcade. Since we have a wide variety of personalities and tastes, we decided to allow each writer to choose one of their favorite brawler, rather than doing a Top 10 list. Read on to see if your favorite was chosen.
One of our trusted sources has tipped us, revealing the full Achievement list for Konami’s arcade classic, X-Men. So, without further delay, here’s the full list. Enjoy!
Back in April, we lamented the top ten games we wish were on Xbox Live Arcade. Well, welcome… to die! Konami has heard our prayers and announced that our favorite 1992 side-scrolling beat-em-up is headed to XBLA.
The announcement came as part of Marvel’s videogame panel at this weekend’s New York Comic Con. There is not yet information regarding release date or price, but Marvel did indicate that the game would have drop-in online multiplayer for up to six players, custom match-ups, and variable difficulty. Local multiplayer seems inevitable, but is not yet announced. You can get a glimpse of the shiny HD gameplay in this trailer…
Ever since the beginning of Xbox Live Arcade, game companies have been using it as a way to breathe new life into their once classic powerhouses. We have seen many classic arcade games from the past like Pac-Man and Rush ‘N Attack, as well as not-so-old but just-as-great ones like Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Alien Hominid. Yet still to this day there are some classic titles that have not received their day in a new light. We know some of it has to do with legal issues, but some of it is also due to neglect, which is why we will be covering our top ten picks that we wish were on XBLA, and why they deserve some new found love.
