Minecraft has been pretty busy recently, launching on PS3 and making movies and all. It may feel like the Xbox 360 edition hasn’t gotten much attention in the past few months, but that will soon change as Title Update 14 is right around the corner. 4J Studios has completed the update and handed it to Microsoft, where it is currently being tested. Once it passes certification, it will be released to the public.

A lot of major features from Title Update 14 have already been revealed, including temples, emeralds, and villager trading, but the update has so much more to offer. Nether Quartz has been added, becoming the first ore available in the Nether. The new Ender Chests lets you store items and access them from any other Ender Chest in the world. Invisibility and night vision will soon be possible with the addition of new potions. There’s also plenty of changes to how the game works, including cauldron filling up in the rain and no more knockback while drowning. Cobblestone walls, anvils, flower pots, zombie villagers – the list goes on and on. The entire update log can be found on the official Minecraft forums, so be sure to check it out.
