Because there apparently weren’t enough Xbox One bundles already — Microsoft announced more the most console bundles it ever has this past holiday — gamers are getting two more options later this month. Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has announced a Rainbow Six Siege bundle and a Name Your Game bundle.
The Rainbow Six Siege bundle (unsurprisingly) comes with its titular game packed in with a 1 TB HDD-equipped Xbox One along with download tokens for the franchise’s last outings: Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. This bundle will set you back $399 and is available right now in all Xbox One territories except for Belgium, China, France, Japan and Netherlands.
The Name Your Game bundle is an interesting little wrinkle Microsoft has added to the well-trodden marketing tactic of bundling games in with consoles. It offers consumers the chance to pick which of four games they want: Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay.
Buyers will get a download code for their game of choice included with their new 500 GB Xbox One for $349. Gamers in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand and the U.K. will be able to choose this bundle starting January 12, while U.S., Brazilian and Canadian consumers will have to wait until an unspecified date later in the month to get their hands on the bundle.
While you wait, check out our review of one of the games offered in the Name Your Game bundle, Rare Replay, which we called “an amazing package backed by an impressive history.”
