After yesterday’s single release, the week seems to be picking up steam with Butcher and Lethal League launching today on Xbox One. Butcher is a gory 2D shooter that pays homage to cult classics of the genre from decades ago. Players will cause bloody destruction with chainsaws, shotguns, and grenade launchers while fighting through hordes of enemies, but there is also the chance to get creative with the murder on display. Players can utilize hooks, lava pits, saws, and many other devices to kill in creative ways. Crunching Koalas’ latest work, Butcher, can be purchased here for $9.99.
Next up is Lethal League from Team Reptile, a competitive projectile fighting game. The goal is to hit an anti-gravity ball directly into the face of the opponent but with every swing the ball speeds up leading to mayhem on-screen. The game can be played with friends on the couch or online, but either way up to four players are supported. Lethal League can be purchased here for $14.99.
