We’ve known for some time that upcoming XBLA game Project Draco would be getting a name change prior to release and developers Grounding Inc, recently mentioned to our intrepid twitter tipper @lifelower that it would finally be announced at a Microsoft event in Toyko later this month. However it seems that the jig is up for the new name has shown up on the Australian ratings board as Crimson Dragon. Microsoft’s PlayXBLA blog have since revealed a smart new logo for the game and a shiny new screen shot, to give it a bit more of an official fanfare.
We’ve spent the past week searching the internet and hounding our industry contacts in an effort to compile the ultimate 2012 XBLA Game Release List. At last year’s Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft and Grounding Inc announced a new Kinect enabled XBLA title called Project Draco which instantly drew comparisons to the legendary Panzer Dragoon series. Now that Tokyo Game Show is again upon us, those behind game have graced us with new Project Draco media. Originally scheduled to be released this year, Project Draco has been pushed back into 2012. The good news? We’ve got four new screenshots after the jump to make the wait a bit easier.
