Uppercut Games’ Submerged will come to Xbox One on August 7, Microsoft announced today. Xbox Live Gold members will receive a 20 percent discount on the title from launch day through August 17, though what the MSRP is that they’ll have that discount applied to was not revealed.
Submerged is described as an exploration game that focuses on navigation instead of combat. Players will take control of a young girl named Miku, who needs to collect supplies to help keep her wounded brother alive throughout her quest to discover more about her broken family and world.
Uppercut has previously released mobile titles EPOCH, SnowJinks and EPOCH 2. The studio was founded in 2011 by three developers who worked on high-profile franchises like Xcom, Fallout and BioShock before forming their own team.
