State of Decay has only been out for a couple weeks, but it is already doing extraordinarily well. The Xbox Wire revealed that in its first week of releasing on Xbox Live Arcade, State of Decay has sold over 500,000 copies (downloads?), making it the fastest-selling original XBLA game of all time. Coincidentally, this also makes it the best-selling XBLA game that doesn’t rhyme with Spine Draft.

That said, the folks at Undead Labs are only getting warmed up. After a few hiccups with their first title update, the incoming second update will fix those problems. For all you half million fans out there, keep in mind that Undead Labs is open to suggestions and requests for future title updates.
