With 2016 right around the corner, Microsoft will be ringing in the new year with price cuts on great games. Countdown, the biggest sale to hit the Xbox Store, starts today. Shoppers can expect 40 to 60 percent off hundreds of titles during the course of the sale, with Xbox Live Gold members saving an additional 10 percent. The sale will come in two waves; the first running December 22-28, followed by new deals available December 29 – January 7. In addition, every day from now to the end of the year will see a new batch of Daily Deals.

The first set of deals will surely fill you with the holiday spirit, as there are currently discounts on loads Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles.
