The Solus Project received a new and substantial expansion recently. The Highpoint Expansion is a free add on and will allow players to explore the new and very vertical Highpoint Island, along with its accompanying cave level. In additional, the expansion will offer over three hours worth of additional story and gameplay including a new cave look, acid lakes, dozens of strange flying orbs, a monstrous creature, and a massive windmill.

The Solus Project is still in early access via the Xbox Game Preview Program, but early adopters will be happy to hear that a number of bug fixes and balancing is also included in the new content patch. A full release expected this May.
