Some early XBLA news this morning brought us the first trailer for Gotham City Impostors, a first person shooter for downloadable platforms developed by Monolith. Since we first heard rumbling of this game a while back, we’ve wondered exactly what it might be. From the trailer–viewable below–GCI will be a Team Fortress-esque online shooter pitting chaos craving salary men and women dressed as heroes or villains against one another. Some wacky, yet cool, weapons and gadgets along with attractive visuals will keep us looking forward to the team-based shooter even into it’s newly announced release window of 2012.
