Today at the Xbox briefing at E3, we as gamers were treated to game after game of exclusives and world premieres. As has become a yearly staple, we were brought a sizzle reel of sorts showcasing the hot and upcoming indie titles being showcased by Xbox itself. This came after the news dropped that the Xbox Game Pass would be launching some major indie titles on Xbox Game Pass the same day coinciding with their global release. This isn’t brand new news, as Robocraft Infinity and Lazer League have already launched day and date with Game Pass Access; however, these are some heavy hitting games. We also got to see some console exclusives from the indie scene allowing us to get even more excited for what the future of this platform is looking like. The sizzle reel promised that we would see games from amazing creators, breaking boundaries and expanding horizons. We were demonstrated the games as follows:
- Outer Wilds [console launch exclusive]
- Afterparty [available launch day on Game Pass]
- Kingdom: Two Crowns
- The Golf Club 2019 Featuring the PGA Tour

These 27 different titles definitely showcase a new direction as far as commitment to not just the indie scene that has been developing over at Xbox, but to diversity in the types of games coming our way. From long-awaited sequels to refreshingly new looks and experiences on the horizon, it is a great time to be excited to own an Xbox One. The ID@Xbox program continues to deliver some of the most exciting and innovative games on the console. We will be excited to learn more news about all of these upcoming titles in the coming months and of course what they have to offer as they are released.
