A while back we revealed that City Interactive were releasing a XBLA version of their flying series Combat Wings. The game was later renamed to Dogfight 1942 and now finally has a release date of September 5. A new trailer has also been published showing the game in action and aircraft fans will be pleased to hear that the game contains over 40 historically accurate planes, ranging from the fabled P-38 Lightning and Britain’s Spitfire, to the feared Messerschmitt 109 and Japanese Kate. No pricing details have been announced as yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear.
