Yesterday, we heard a rumor that a remake of WWE WrestleFest is coming to XBLA after its iOS release and it looks like we’ll be going in the ring next. The game will include a list of famous wrestlers from recent stars like The Marine‘s John Cena to legends like “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Jake “the Snake” Roberts. The iOS version will include multiplayer, meaning the XBLA version could possibly bring it over for offline/online. There’ll also be DLC for the iOS version, possibly inferring we’ll be getting DLC on the XBLA version but since being announced for development, we don’t know much beyond a release date for 2012. In the meantime, there is a Marketplace listing, with confirmed 2-player online and some screenshots from we assume the iOS version unless the XBLA version has those giant buttons on the screen. Keep your belt on in the ring when this comes out sometime this year.
