Twitch streaming for Xbox One was announced back in June, allowing Xbox One players to stream the games they were playing to one of the biggest game-streaming services for fans around the world to see. However, right before the Xbox One released in November it was announced that Twitch streaming would not be available at launch.

Microsoft has been quiet about its Twitch streaming plans since that time, but Twitch has recently opened up with the following tweet:

A Microsoft representative told Polygon “We understand that the broadcasting component of Twitch is very important, and it is a major focus on our roadmap as we work to ensure it is seamlessly implemented into our Xbox One experience over the coming months.”
