During The Game Awards last night Telltale Games revealed the first trailer for their upcoming mini-series, The Walking Dead: Michonne. While the previous two seasons featured characters and storylines new to the Walking Dead universe, this three-episode event will tell a new story much closer to the source material.

Taking place between issues 126 to 139 of the comics, the game will tell the untold story of why Michonne left Rick and the group and what lead to her return. The titular sword-wielding zombie killer will be played by Samira Wiley, whom many will know from Orange is the New Black. The Walking Dead: Michonne is coming February 2016 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
