Telltale Games today announced a new mini-series following one of the most intriguing characters of The Walking Dead comic and television series, Michonne.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will give players a chance to learn the story behind why Michonne left Rick and the group, and what eventually brought her back.

According to creator Robert Kirkman, Michonne was chosen to be the first character featured because, “In many ways, Michonne herself is a reflection of the world of The Walking Dead. She is brutal and cold on the outside, but deep beneath what is broken, she remains hopeful, trying to claw her way out of the darkness that surrounds her.”

Michonne is expected to release this fall for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. In order to play you will have to own at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two. Telltale said they will have more information regarding this as it gets closer to release.
