GameSpot recently had the opportunity to sit down with Ken Balough of Sega who unveiled to the world the first teaser trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode Two, along with the first details surrounding the game. First and foremost, Mr. Balough announced that Episode 2 will be rocking entirely new graphics and physics engines, immediately separating itself from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One. Additionally, the teaser trailer (which can be viewed above) reveals that Sonic’s old buddy Tails will be welcomed back into the fold this time around, and we expect him to be playable. On the villain side, it is being speculated that Sonic’s rival Metal Sonic will be taking center stage. The good news is that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode Two will be speeding onto XBLA sometime in 2012. The bad news is that we have no idea when. We can only advise you to keep your eyes open. You know Sonic’s reputation; He just may blaze onto the scene sooner than you’d think.
