Developer Croteam has announced that Serious Sam 3: BFE will be released October 17 on XBLA. The game will be available in two parts; the main campaign, which contains the single-player mode, will be released as a standalone game followed by the online co-op and splitscreen co-op modes. An add-on will follow with the Jewel of the Nile campaign expansion and competitive multiplayer modes, including Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Last Team Standing. Both halves will be released simultaneously next Wednesday, each with a 1200 MSP price tag.
