Yes, Saint’s Row can get even more insane. Deep Silver has announced Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell, a standalone expansion to Saint’s Row IV that will follow Johnny Gat into the fiery depths. The expansion will be available digitally for $19.99 on January 27, 2015 in North America, and it will release on January 30th in other territories. It will be available on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and coincides with the release of Saint’s Row IV: Re-elected on Xbox One. See the announcement trailer below:

Deep Silver tells that Johnny Gat is “sent into hell via a nefarious spirit board incident and left to combat demons, the horrors of the underworld (including prominent historical figures) and, of course, the Devil himself.”

Hell is about 50% the size of Steelport, and you are able to fly through it using a pair of demonic wings. Gat Out of Hell also toys with many well-known biblical concepts—for example, an armchair vehicle with gatling guns and rockets represents laziness as one of the seven deadly sins.
