According to a patent filed with the Australian government, a new multiplatform title based on the Scarygirl graphic novel series is in development over at TikGames. Based on TikGames’ development history and details of the patent itself, many are speculating that the project (which will be published by Square Enix) will be released as a downloadable title for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. While details surrounding the game are basically non-existent, this will actually mark the second time that TikGames visits the Scarygirl universe, the first being Dr Maybee and the Adventures of Scarygirl, a PSP platformer released earlier this year. Because platforms have not been confirmed at this time, we’ll file this as a rumor for now. Assuming the new Scarygirl makes its way onto XBLA, we’ll bring you coverage of the game as soon as it becomes available here at XBLAFans.
