Rocket League’s impending arrival on Xbox One has plenty of buzz already. The critically acclaimed title, initially released on PC and PS4 last year from Psyonix, is set to arrive on Xbox One this February and has already made mention of Halo and Gears of War-themed vehicles. Insomniac Games has now announced their involvement to help bring Sunset Overdrive-themed unlockables to the Xbox One port.
These add-ons include a Fizzie antenna topper and an Overcharge rocket boost. As with all unlockables, these can be earned in the game at random through completed matches. There has been no news if prior unlockable items from other franchises, such as Valve’s Portal-themed items, will also be available in the Xbox One version. We’re hoping this is a good sign of things to come with other developers giving a nod to Psyonix and allowing them to include additional IPs in Rocket League.
Rocket League is slated for February 2016 with no specific date available at this time.
