Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale was developed by Bedlam Games and was released on May 25, 2011 and retails for 1200 Microsoft Points. A copy was provided by the developer or review purposes.
The trial versions of XBLA games often represent some of the best segments of the full product, but Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale’s trial leaves you wondering if the final product will let you fight an enormous beast who appears at the end of the demo. Of course, upon purchasing the full game, you realize that this frantic battle doesn’t take place and that you are restricted to mindless escort and fetch missions for the entirety of the game. The demo aptly sums up the entire experience: a worthy license utilized in insufficient ways.
Fans of the original PC hit Boulder Dash can celebrate because developer Kalypso is creating an all new entry of the series for XBLA and PC entitled Boulder Dash …

Nin2-Jump was developed by Cave and retails for 400 MSP.
Nin2-Jump (pronounced Nin-Nin-Jump) is a platformer that comes from an unlikely heritage. It was developed by Cave, a developer famous for one thing: bullet hell shooters. It’s not hard to see where this influenced the game in many places. But in releasing Nin2-Jump Cave has proven that they can produce competent games in other genres.
Much like a shooter, the story here is razor thin. You are a ninja. Your goal is to save the princess. You achieve this by collecting scrolls and destroying bosses. While this all sounds familiar it is enough to drive the game, and it is the gameplay that matters.
Infinity Danger was developed by Milkstone Studios. It was released March 22, 2011 for 80MSP. A copy of the game was provided by the publisher for review purposes.
As any shmup (shoot-em’-up) fan will likely agree, the best part of any shooter is the boss battle. In a “bullet hell” shooter, with an obscene amount of bullets coming at you from different angles and various speeds, this is even more so. So why not cut through those boring levels and skip right to the boss? How about we also make that boss change their tactics every time? Ok…you’ve got my attention.
Cave has announced a release date for their upcoming crazy platformer Nin2-Jump will be released on April 27th. We don’t actually have too many details on the game …

Perfect Dark was ported to the Xbox 360 by 4J Studios. It was originally developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released March 17, 2010 for 800MSP.
When Perfect Dark was released over a decade ago on the Nintendo 64 it was the definitive shooter for its day. It started with everything that was great from GoldenEye 007 and took it beyond the limits a movie adaptation is forced to have. Rare offered everything from co and counter operative gameplay to multiplayer challenges with bots. The game received rave reviews from critics at the time.
Players first learned about the Xbox Live Arcade port in April 2009 via a single leaked screenshot of a developer’s dashboard which showed the icon of Joanna Dark behind the developer’s avatar. The leak was confirmed in June of that same year by none other than Xbox Live’s Major Nelson. But like so many games from yesteryear consumers had doubts as to whether the game truly lived up to their memories.
Today Kalypso Media, along with First Star Software, Inc. and Catnip Games, have launched the official website for their upcoming XBLA game Boulder Dash-XL. Announced back in …
