Over a million copies of Dust: An Elysian Tail sold

Dust: An Elysian Tail, which came in at number 14 on XBLA Fans’ list ofbest arcade games of all time, has passed an incredible milestone with creator Dean Dodrill announcing via Twitter that the game has sold over a million copies:

Today, Dust: AET surpassed one million units sold. Thank you to @xbox, @steam_games, & @humble for their support in helping us get here!

Dust was originally targeted toward the Indie channel on Xbox, but it become the winner of the 2009 Microsoft Dream.Build.Play challenge and was awarded a contract for release on Xbox Live Arcade. The game was designed and programmed completely by Dodrill and we at XBLA Fans congratulate him and his team at Humble Hearts for such an outstanding accomplishment, especially after such humble beginnings.
