On the Rain-Slick Precipice 3 DLC coming soon; sequel in the works
Penny Arcade’s Jerry Holkins (aka Tycho Brahe) announced today that the first free DLC package for Zeboyd Games’ On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is nearing completion. Titled The Lair of the Seamstress, the downloadable content for the XBLIG release does not yet have a finalized release date, but Holkins stated that it “will come out soon.”
Though conceding that the team itself does not yet know the precise date, Holkins, who handled the game’s writing, reminded Penny Arcade’s readers that “there’s some kind of big convention or something next month.” Getting only slightly more direct, he stated that the team would “maybe” make the content available during PAX Prime (August 31 – September 2).
Zeboyd will be swinging by the Penny Arcade offices tomorrow (July 24) to work on a pair of other Penny Arcade projects. First up is the second and final free add-on for On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3. This DLC pack will explore “the fate of the player character from the first two games.” The studio’s other undertaking is more ambitious — a full sequel to the third entry in the RPG franchise. No details on what Holkins referred to as Rain-Slick 4 were made available.
