E3 is well behind us now, and Microsoft has turned its eye to the next big games convention on the calendar: Germany’s Gamescom. Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has detailed the console holder’s plans for Gamescom, which will be held in Cologne, Germany during the first week of August.

Microsoft will get things started with a pre-show media briefing on August 4 at 4:00 PM local time (10:00 AM EDT/7:00 AM PDT). Headlining the event will be Scalebound, Quantum Break and Crackdown, retail titles that didn’t make an appearance at E3. Fans will be able to watch from home online at Xbox.com, on their Xbox Ones through the Xbox Live Event interactive app or on their Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Experience app.

Just as at E3, AAA titles like Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6 and Rise of the Tomb Raider will be playable for attendees on the show floor, which is open for press and industry members on August 5 and for everyone from August 6 through August 9.

Also returning from E3 will be Xbox FanFest, which seeks to allow fans a level of games trade show access usually restricted to press and industry personnel. FanFest will be held on August 4 and 5 with specific details coming soon.
