Two man indie developer Juicy Cupcake has announced that they will be launching their new brawler Brief Battles in 2018. Launching with four playable characters, Brief Battles is designed for couch play, with online possibly in the future. As mentioned by the title, these ‘heroes’ derive their magical powers from the different underpants you can wear.

Given the wording of the press release, it seems as if though more characters are in the works. No mention of how pricing would work and if they would release them individually or as bundle packs. Juicy Cupcake is also boasting about their selection of match types, mentioning six different modes with more still to be announced before launch.
