A busy start to August as four new games hit the Xbox One store this Friday. First up is 2D action-adventure game The Way from Puzzling Dream and Code Horizon. Inspired by old school classics like Another World and Flashback, the game tells a story about a member of space explorers team, who lost his beloved one and cannot accept her death. Finding ancient writings on eternal existence during one of his last expeditions, makes him come back there in search of the meaning of life itself. Pick it up here for $9.99.

Next we have Mr. Shifty, described as a new kind of action game from tinyBuild and Team Shifty. The game follows a teleportation-fueled heist to break into the world’s most secure facility. Players will need to shift through walls, through bullets, cover huge distances and be everywhere at once. One shot kills. Survive on skills. Pick it up here for $14.99.

Also releasing today is Race Arcade from Iceflake Studios. A top down racing game with a strong retro feeling promises the ultimate racing experience, seamlessly combining all the best parts from old skool racing games with the most recent technologies. In the extensive single player mode you can play competitive single races, fast time trials and lengthy careers, and you can also play against your friends locally with gameplay for up to 6 players. You can buy Race Arcade here for $9.99.

And finally, perhaps a fitting tribute to the end of the working week, we have Oh…Sir! The Insult Simulator from Vile Monarch. Players can battle their way through numerous unique situations and verbally assault their console in the Loner’s Insult Tournament Mode. Or you can put your friends under fire in Real-Life Friends Mode (offline pvp) and Imaginary-Friends Mode (online pvp). Priced at a low, low $2.99, just how much were those friends really worth to you anyway.
