Xbox LIVE Gold has been unlocked today in the U.S., Latin America, Japan and Canda. All Xbox owners in these regions will now have access to online multiplayer gaming, Video Kinect, and the entire catalog of entertainment apps available, right through until 1pm ET/10am PT Monday, April 22. To celebrate, Call of Duty Black Ops II, Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 will be giving out double XP all weekend and Borderlands 2 players can unlock a special Golden Key Code: KTW3T-ZXXS5-JBSJF-5FJT3-6TB9X. There will also be a number of EA Sports tournaments to take part in, in association with Virgin Gaming. For more information, head over to Xbox.com.
