After years of being shown off at the Electronic Entertainment Expo and other game conferences across the globe, Snowcastle Games’ Earthlock: Festival of Magic finally has a release date. The game will be coming onto Xbox One on September 1st. It will be free for the entirety of September as it will be a part of the Games with Gold lineup for the month. This means that as long as you have a valid gold membership in September you will be able to download Earthlock which can then be played at any later date as long gold membership is maintained.
Earthlock is a turn-based RPG in which players take on the role of Amon and several other improbable heroes in an effort to save Umbra, a world that stopped spinning thousands of years ago for unknown reasons. The launch trailer for Earthlock: Festival of Magic can be seen below. News about the other three games that will be joining Earthlock in September’s Games with Gold lineup is expected to be released sometime later this week.
