Zombie Driver HD receives stability update, downloadable content
Zombie Driver HD, the vehicular option for those looking to give zombies the what for, recently received an update correcting problems some players may be experiencing. On the bug-squashing list are screen tearing issues and improvements to the overall frame rate, which we encountered last year, during our official review. In addition to the aforementioned, developer EXOR Studios stated the update “fixes a number of smaller issues.” This attention under the hood should help players splatter their way through the newly released downloadable content.
Dubbed the Apocalypse Pack, the DLC introduces two vehicles available in all game modes, along with a new Slaughter Mode map, the Military Base. The first of the new rides is Chaos 126p, a teacup monster truck with tight handling for fast and nimble maneuvers. Second, a custom-built monstrosity christened the Auroch, combining the bulk of a semitruck with the carrying capacity of a military-grade APC. The Apocalypse Pack can be purchased for 240 MSP, but be sure to check out both downloadable vehicles and the new map in the trailer above.
