Another Wednesday another XBLA release and the House Party rages on this week with the release of Popcap’s Bejeweled Blitz Live. Based on the spin-off of Popcap’s huge popular Bejeweled games the XBLA version has added a surprising amount of features. The main mode challenges players to try and score as many points as they can in 60 seconds, using powerups to try and gain an advantage. Blitz Live is all about comparing those scores and challenging friends and as such there’s plenty of leaderboard and multiplayer to get to grips with.

To celebrate the release there is also a free Premium theme based on the game. Links to said theme and the trial for Bejeweled can be found below.
