Xbox Live’s Summer of Arcade 2013 begins August 7 with Starbreeze Studios’ Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, reports Major Nelson. Brothers enters the market at 1200 MSP, allowing you to control both members of the duo simultaneously with a thumb stick for a puzzle-solving, “single player co-op” adventure.

Ska Studios kicks off the following week with Charlie Murder, the punk rock beat-em-up, on August 14 for 800 MSP. Flashback, VectorCell’s HD remake of the classic sci-fi platformer, launches August 21 for 800 MSP. Lastly, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows from Red Fly Studios closes out the month-long Arcade celebration, bringing the turtles back into the spotlight on August 28 for 1200 MSP.

As an added bonus, anyone who purchases two games from this year’s lineup will be gifted a free Souls Pack for the forthcoming free-to-play Ascend: Hand of Kul. Souls are Signal Studios’ only currency in Ascend, and can be used to purchase a wide array of items and services.
