US IFV (M113 APC)

Description:
With a small company of soldiers onboard, an Armored Personnel Carrier really does bring the fight to your doorstep.

Attributes:
Equipped with a 20 or 40 mm auto cannon and anti-tank missiles, you sacrifice the high speed rounds of a machine gun for slower, harder hitting damage.

Controls:
Aim – RS
Move – LS
Fire – RT
Fire Missile – LT
Shell Cam – LT (Hold)

Tips:
The US IFV is best used against the larger, slower moving vehicles. Heavy bullet rounds and anti-tank missiles make quick work of almost all tanks and hummers. Although it can be used against infantry and ATVs they’re just a little to fast and small for this vehicle to be really effective. Another use we found is since the anti-tank missiles are level three you can use Shell Cam (hold LT) and go skyward for pesky helicopters and planes, just like the level three anti-tank turret.

US Heavy Tank (M1 Abrams)

Description:
A classic example of  “everything gone right” that leaves no room for contention. This tank is a beast.

Attributes
Heavy armor, machine guns and an auto-cannon allow for handling of almost all enemies–large or small.

Controls:
Aim – RS
Move – LS
Fire Cannon – RT
Fire Machine Guns – LT

Tips:
The Heavy Tank seems to prove best against medium to large enemies, quickly cutting them down in their paths. The high powered machine gun and auto-canon make quick work of infantry and AT’s, so no worries there either.

US Attack Helo (AH-64 Apache)

Description:
Helicopters designed to gracefully wreck havoc on their foes. If not shot down at a distance, they may not be shot down at all.

Attributes:
It’s well armed–equipped with rockets, auto-lock missiles and a single machine gun, though the armor isn’t the greatest.

Controls:
Aim – RS
Move – LS
Fire Gun – RT
Fire Missile – LT
Night Vision – RS (Click/Press)
Lock-On Missile – Lt (Hold)
Change Altitude – LB/RB

Tips:
The Attack Helo is definitely an all around vehicle. With its auto-locking missiles almost any targets can be easily hit. However its best use is against air-bound enemies as you can hover in place and just spin to follow, allowing you to constantly attack.

US Helo Gunship (UH-1 Huey Gunship)

Description:
A modified Transport Helo. By sacrificing the utility of flying troops behind enemy lines, these helos gain quite a bit of firepower.

Attributes
It packs dual machine guns and dual rocket launchers. Though there is no auto-lock for the rockets they do have auto-fire which can prove useful.

Controls:
Aim – RS
Move – LS
Fire – RT
Fire Rockets – LT
Change Altitude – LB/RB

Tips:
The best course of action when piloting this helicopter is to focus on ground units, since you are equipped with dual rockets and machine guns. A lack of auto-lock can make things hard when trying to hit the Soviet jets or fighter copters. Since both the machine guns and rockets are auto-fire when shooting at large targets just hold down both triggers, but against smaller enemies use the rockets sparingly so they last longer and cover more ground.

US Fighter (F-14 Tomcat)

Description:
Terror from above. Fighters are a common undoing for ground forces, making lock-on missiles and dogfighting a necessity.

Attributes:
Auto-lock missiles will handle both air-born problems and large ground issues like tanks. Other standard features of the Attack Fighter is a bombing-camera and napalm for infantry.

Controls:
Roll – LB/RB
Boost – A
Aim/Turn – RS
Speed Up – LS Up
Speed Down – LS Down
Fire Vulcan – RT
Fire Missiles – LT
Lock-On Missiles – LT (Hold)
Bombing Camera – RS (Click/Press)
Immelmann Maneuver – LB+RB

[Bombing Camera]
Deploy Napalm – RT
Lock-On Missile – LT (Hold)

Tips:
This jet plane is one of the most universal vehicles in the game, allowing you to attack both air and ground easily. Getting used to bombing cam can prove a little tricky, but once mastered it can be your best friend. Most stages with the fighter have several batteries to help you stay powered up and can be utilized to keep your plane powered-up for 40-60% of the match.
