FarSight Studios’ upcoming title The Pinball Arcade has had its release date pushed back. According to a statement posted to the developer’s Facebook page, The Pinball Arcade is now pegged for release sometime toward the backend of March. No concrete date as of yet. Plans to release the game earlier have been scuppered, likely on account of the fact that FarSight is aiming to have The Pinball Arcade on just about every current platform going:

“In order for our game to be seen (and in our opinion be successful) we also need the support of Apple, Google, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.”

Sour news for pinball fans, and according to yesterday’s report there’s no shortage of you. It’s not all doom and gloom though; FarSight has promised to dedicate the additional time to polishing its game:

“We’ll use this extra time to improve the game and address as many of the comments that you’ve given us as we can.”
