The Binding of Issac: Rebirth will at last be gracing the Xbox One after a period of exclusivity on the PlayStation 4 and on PCs. While there are changes to the game for Nintendo platforms, due to religious and nudity reasons, it seems as though the Xbox One version will release fairly unaltered.

Edmund McMillen decided to announce this on April Fool’s Day, so there was the usual confusion regarding any news from April 1 but he took to Twitter today, April 2, to reconfirm that the game is in fact coming to new platforms. The only word on a release date is “soonish,” but each Monday Edmund will be posting about Afterbirth so he’s sure to drop a release date during some upcoming Mondays post.
