The first trailer for Wrecked: Revenge Revisited (formerly known as Gas: Fuel for Fun) hit the web this morning. The game is from former Micro Machines developer 505 Games and has a strong tie to the classic series. Everything from the top-down, four car racing to the aggressive powerups screams spiritual sequel. From first impressions there are two major differences: it has a real world setting and it features current-gen graphics. Wrecked will feature a full single player championship as well as four player local or online play. To compare the trailer to the previous Gas trailer, hit the jump.
Supersonic Software, the developer behind many of the Micro Machines games, announced recently via their blog that their upcoming title Gas: Fuel for Fun would be making its way to XBLA sometime this year. Exact details are sketchy at best, but the game appears to be a racing/combat title in the vein of the Micro Machines games and another previous title of Supersonics, Mashed: Fully Loaded.
